Ms. Kafer, a shareholder of the firm, has extensive experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters, insurance bad faith litigation, and general liability defense. She is frequently consulted by insurance clients on insurance coverage and claim handling issues for assistance in resolving matters without litigation and to mitigate risk. She also represents individuals, businesses, and governmental entities and employees in a variety of other matters, including personal injury, professional liability, construction, employment, and civil rights cases. She has successfully defended clients through all stages of litigation, including obtaining dismissal and summary judgment on motions and favorable verdicts and outcomes in trials and appeals in both state and federal court, including the Colorado Supreme Court and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She enjoys helping clients find solutions to complex problems and navigating the legal system to obtain the best possible outcome.
